At the end of every school year, UT University Charter (UTUCS) celebrates our partner facilities with a luncheon. Having cancelled the last two in-person ones, this event felt special as it was a time for our District Staff and Facility Staff to be together and strengthen the relationships that ultimately serve some of the most vulnerable students. UT-UCS campuses are located across: from Fort Worth in the north to Houston in the south so the opportunity to gather in the same room truly was a celebration.

The event culminated with the announcements of achievement awards for our facility partners. Schools are measured, in part, by student achievement and student attendance and UT-UCS would not be able to do well on these measures without the commitment of our facility partners who ensure that students go to class and dedicate study time for them.

Every year, UT-UCS names a Facility Partner of the Year. Partners are nominated by staff who feel that the facility is committed to maintaining the academic rigor necessary for our students to earn their credits, while at the same time providing the youth with the care and support they need in their current life situations. We are happy to announce that the 2022 Facility Partner of the Year is Clearfork Academy of Fort Worth.  Thank you, Clearfork Academy, for providing care and commitment to our students and our teachers.
