In response to the developing and rapidly-changing situation and in consideration of maximizing ways to further prevent the risk of exposure to COVID-19, all UT-UCS schools will follow the guidance set forth by the larger ISD in their area. Currently, the guidance is:

UT-UCS campuses in these districts: Austin,  Bastrop, Dripping Springs, Del Valle, Jarrell, Ingram, Hays and Georgetown will also remain closed through Friday, April 3.

UT-UCS campuses in Azel, Belton, Comal, Hempstead, Waco, Northeast, San Antonio, Houston and Pasadena will also remain closed through Friday, March 20.

The return to school dates depend on developments regarding the restrictions put into place by our community leaders in our counties across the state. Superintendent Chavez will continue to be in communication with all of our principals and facility directors during this rapidly developing situation.
